Hey guys!! So, it's language arts MCA week for 7th grade! Yay!!!!! Just kidding... :) I just thought I would include a few tips that help me. I know this is all you've been hearing these past couple weeks, and I know. I sympathize with you. But the teachers are right when they say that these really help. So here are some tips:
1. Use strike through!!! This is so helpful. If you want to come back to a question you're not sure about, strike through any wrong answers you know so that you don't have to start completely over again on that question.
2. Chew mint gum or eat mints. The mint flavor is scientifically proven to improve your brain composition. And, it prevents bad breath :)
3. Read and reread Passages, questions, answers, everything!!! Reread, reread, reread.
4. Highlight relevant text in the passage that is connected to an answer.
5. Flag questions that you aren't sure about. A lot of the time, if you leave a question and come back to it your thinking refreshes and the answer is obvious. Just give it a little time.
6. Don't talk to your neighbors. You will get kicked out.
Alright, so these are some of the tips most helpful for me. I hope they help you guys!
